An industry renowned hardware manufacturing specialist has a superb opportunity for a Senior Automation Engineer to join the Regression and Validation team. The organisation operates in a number of markets including defence and telecommunications. Specifically, this role will be in their test equipment division so experience in this field will be a plus.
As Senior Automation Engineer, your role will be to develop the in-house automation system. This will involve applying new features and enhancements to the system as well as integrating new requirements into the system from the various departments in the company. You will also work on integrating Matlab DLL’s, writing Python wrappers.
Essential to the role will be a background of developing Python-based automation systems and experience working in the telecommunications industry. You will also need to have experience of developing a web based server. Use of tools like Matlab, ClearCase/ClearQuest and TCL is also required.
In return for your skills and experience you can expect to be rewarded with a salary of up to £45,000 per annum plus benefits.
